We would be delighted to help you plan a safari, whether that be on its own, or with a beach extension, or as part of a longer touring holiday. You can pop in the shop for an initial chat, or ideally make an appointment for a convenient time. We can follow up by phone and email or face to face if you decide to take it further.
We'll show you the main ways that you can enjoy a safari, each with their own pros and cons, and give an indication of the best places to go, what times of year to avoid, and roughly how much they cost.
Masai Mara, Kenya
The big question is how much of your holiday do you want seeing wildlife? Is it the main reason for going, and does something like a week on safari visiting different game parks sound good? Or is 3 days and 1 game park enough?
Then we'll show you a few examples, and answer any questions you may have such as luggage, medication and clothing.
We'll also help you with the flights, and any airport hotels and/or car parking if it makes things easier for you. You may decide to travel out a day or two in advance of the safari, and there can be good reasons for doing so. For example, in Nairobi, Kenya, you can visit the World famous Giraffe Sanctuary and the Daphne Sheldrick elephant orphanage. Both of these can ben booked as an extension to a Kenya safari.
Here's an example of one of our best selling safari and beach holidays. The safari is fixed, but you can change the duration of your beach stay.
Kenya Safari and Beach Holiday
The best way to start the ball rolling is to give us a few details such as when you want to go. Making an appointment is ideal as it gives us a chance to check a few things in advance, but you can always just pop in the shop.
And remember, you never pay a penny more when you book any of these safaris through us - the price you pay is the advertised online price, assuming it's accurate.
After the safari many travellers want to relax on a beach for a few days, and there's normally several options depending on where your safari is and your budget. In each destination we'll provide hotel recommendations and give you a full costing for the whole package.
For Kenya and Tanzania safaris, the choice comes down to which beach hotel you'd like to stay in, but if you're going to South Africa or Namibia (or even Botswana) for your safari then there are also touring options. For example Kruger + Cape Town is a very popular twin centre holiday, and Namibia has a great circular driving route if you'd like to see spectacular landscapes.
The best way to start the ball rolling is to give us a few brief details about your requirements and make an appointment to come in at a later date. That way we can prepare a quick itinerary for you ready for when you come in.
